Spectators: 7802 (Terracing: 5853, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 155) Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cédric Payen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iordache Hirean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horia Tătaru's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Iordache Hirean came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru. But to his dismay, Horia Tătaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Minerul Baita -MM- defense, Horia Tătaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iordache Hirean. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iordache Hirean should have stopped the shot. Iordache Hirean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horia Tătaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Xalo Camara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reine Pettersson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Minerul Baita -MM- reached it. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Iordache Hirean, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute of the match Preator Edikt got a corner. Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Gustavo Barbosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 30th minute, Qiu Wei Ting left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Horia Tătaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute Horia Tătaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Hirean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Horia Tătaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minerul Baita -MM-'s Iordache Hirean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horia Tătaru struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Iordache Hirean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Preator Edikt. After 46 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Mnich. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig-Ove Blomqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iordache Hirean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Tătaru in the 51st minute of play. Preator Edikt's Reine Pettersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Şendrea in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Ove Blomqvist came free, but Iordache Hirean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horia Tătaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iordache Hirean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iordache Hirean was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Preator Edikt getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ceferino Totakoxe hit a great ball. Cédric Payen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iordache Hirean made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Stig-Ove Blomqvist sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horia Tătaru in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordache Hirean saved Minerul Baita -MM- from getting behind. In the 83rd minute Horia Tătaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Hirean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Pavel Niță replaced Cédric Payen. After 91 minutes, Mons Vallestad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minerul Baita -MM- and the Preator Edikt players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Mons Vallestad hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Bolo Miner. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Preator Edikt walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
