In the 20th minute Tiit Kääpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ukko Niemi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harkujärve JK's Silver Saluste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Harkujärve JK from getting a goal against them. After 25 minutes, Martti Helin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United FC and the Harkujärve JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Martti Helin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Janno Arumäe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taito Tuulola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silver Saluste came out and tried to block the shot, but Taito Tuulola slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Heinaru in the 42nd minute of play forced Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Ukko Niemi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's Taito Tuulola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silver Saluste narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ukko Niemi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiit Kääpa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 59th minute of the match Jörgen Vool sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ukko Niemi skillfully saved the ball. If Aatto Hänninen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Santtu Pietiläinen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 72 minutes into the game, Aatto Hänninen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Silver Saluste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute, Santtu Pietiläinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janno Arumäe got free with Ukko Niemi in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the game, Manchester United FC's Taito Tuulola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silver Saluste made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Kari Munn kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Silver Saluste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aatto Hänninen in the 85th minute of play. Taito Tuulola hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Arno Vanaliin from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Ukko Niemi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 89 minutes into the game, Aatto Hänninen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Silver Saluste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ukko Niemi made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Janno Arumäe sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Manchester United FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Harkujärve JK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
