But to his dismay, Cédric Payen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 45 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Iordache Hirean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Martins. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cédric Payen in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodosio Macerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Leonardo Medardo made the kick off in the second half. Teodosio Macerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionică Şendrea in the 51st minute. After 52 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Magnusson. 53 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Martins came free, but Iordache Hirean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Minerul Baita -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Medardo in the 62nd minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Iordache Hirean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Macerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cédric Payen, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Qiu Wei Ting sped through Boulogne F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teodosio Macerio. Teodosio Macerio came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Minerul Baita -MM-'s Felix Ferenț. But to his dismay, Felix Ferenț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 75th minute, Samuel Mercurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when Boulogne F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Boulogne F.C. getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Eliseo Mattin hit a great ball. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Pavel Niță replaced Cédric Payen. After 86 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Qiu Wei Ting. In the 96th minute, Mons Vallestad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The Minerul Baita -MM- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Minerul Baita -MM- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
