With a little luck, forsal FC's Huang Hao Chuan got control of the ball when Eustaquio Bartuelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Justino Hondo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Seyhan Atlıhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Ascani in the 12th minute of the match. After 13 minutes, Angelo Fiorentino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the forsal FC and the Formentera players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute Carlos Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huang Hao Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Fernández succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 26th playminute. 29 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Ascani came free, but Seyhan Atlıhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Meng Mo Feng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of forsal FC booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Hondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Ascani in the 36th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Alberto Ascani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyhan Atlıhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Mattioli scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Seyhan Atlıhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan-Erik Lönn charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Erik Lönn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Lönn. Jan-Erik Lönn struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Huang Hao Chuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formentera. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Erik Lönn made a kick off. Huang Hao Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Bartuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Formentera were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after forsal FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Justino Hondo took the corner. Formentera's Justino Hondo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Huang Hao Chuan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Bartuelo in the 53rd minute of play forced forsal FC's goalkeeper Huang Hao Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by forsal FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Justino Hondo was slow to take the kick. During this time Formentera's players had a chance to rest. 杨平帆 was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to forsal FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Enrico Lorenzi hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Geronimo Silviano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Formentera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 69th minute of the match Formentera got a corner. forsal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Justino Hondo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Huang Hao Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Lönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, forsal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernández came free, but Huang Hao Chuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Eustaquio Bartuelo hit a great ball. Seyhan Atlıhan made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Claudio Mattioli sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jan-Erik Lönn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formentera's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Erik Lönn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huang Hao Chuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Eustaquio Bartuelo got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Claudio Mattioli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Seyhan Atlıhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Jan-Erik Lönn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Huang Hao Chuan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, Formentera could leave the field as winners, despite forsal FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
