The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evaristo Ovando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dirk Damman in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermenegildo Castilho in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Ovando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Alpina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Parente came free, but Didier Schollens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AC 1986 Vinalito getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nicolas Parente hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermenegildo Castilho in the 24th minute of play forced AC 1986 Vinalito's goalkeeper Evaristo Ovando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Cezary Owsiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Ovando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Federico Popov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Alexander Van Hautvinck notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of AC 1986 Vinalito's Evaristo Ovando. Evaristo Ovando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute, Hermenegildo Castilho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alpina FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A collision led to AC 1986 Vinalito getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ezequiel Pirlo hit a great ball. Alpina FC's Daniel Alves was substituted for Babacar Sylla. After 82 played minutes AC 1986 Vinalito got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Pirlo. Alexander Van Hautvinck took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Ovando. Evaristo Ovando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Bastian Vercasteren kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Evaristo Ovando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermenegildo Castilho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didier Schollens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Mantzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Hermenegildo Castilho scored 5-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaristo Ovando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
