When Fabiano Couto came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Roceira SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Couto couldn't finish the play. Hendrik Herremans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Yves Schollens fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limburg United's protests and gave Yves Schollens a yellow card for diving instead. Yves Schollens hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Roceira SC's Gonçalo Lima in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Limburg United's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel da Fonseca got free with Hendrik Herremans in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Limburg United's Hendrik Herremans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Limburg United from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the game, Roceira SC's Gonçalo Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanks to some nice moves Gonçalo Lima could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Hendrik Herremans however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Roceira SC's Gonçalo Lima slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hendrik Herremans. That made the score 3-4 after 86 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Custódio in the 89th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Hendrik Herremans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Váldson Custódio scored 3-5 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hendrik Herremans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Limburg United booed when Roceira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
