Roceira SC's Carlos Eduardo Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Marchidan in the 3rd minute of play. When Roceira SC's Fabiano Couto in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Club【LBF】's goalie prevented a goal. Carolo Chuse hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute of the match Gonçalo Lima shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cláudio Taffarel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Gonçalo Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Jatsu in the 15th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Jatsu in the 36th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Severino Jatsu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Eduardo Chaves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 40 minutes, Miguel da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roceira SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Váldson Custódio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Taffarel was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. 44 minutes into the game, Racing Club【LBF】's Severino Jatsu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabiano Couto was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Obafuso came free, but Carlos Eduardo Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing Club【LBF】's Cláudio Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Váldson Custódio in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Roceira SC booed when Racing Club【LBF】 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cláudio Taffarel came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Roceira SC's Fabiano Couto. But to his dismay, Fabiano Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Carlos Eduardo Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Marchidan in the 61st minute of play. In the 67th minute, Roceira SC's Gonçalo Lima dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Racing Club【LBF】's Alejo Galoer got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Alejo Galoer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Cláudio Taffarel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Marchidan in the 75th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
