In the 13th minute of the match Crottos Crotters F.C. got a corner. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aristides Phelipe ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Aristides Phelipe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nahuel Losada quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 17th minute Leonel Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nahuel Losada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Artime in the 18th minute of play forced Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Freddy Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Artime, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Freddy Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Artime in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Crottos Crotters F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Tino. When Gabriel-Alejandro Batistuta fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's protests and gave Gabriel-Alejandro Batistuta a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel-Alejandro Batistuta kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 31st play minutes Leonel Messi shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Nahuel Losada and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 40th minute Hugo Moralez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nahuel Losada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Aristides Phelipe made the kick off in the second half. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Leonel Messi got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Fabiano Artime got free with Freddy Mercurio in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Belgrano LOS PIRATAS getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alejo Elizardo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Messi in the 62nd minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Nahuel Losada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Anastasio Orlondo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Tomas Cibran was substituted for Eriberto Espiridion. Anastasio Orlondo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 88 minutes, Feliberto Manilan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgrano LOS PIRATAS and the Crottos Crotters F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Crottos Crotters F.C. booed when Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Manilan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
