GRÊMIO's Carlos Miguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Artime in the 17th minute of play. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivan Drago in the 19th minute. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Ivan Drago was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlos Miguel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nahuel Losada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Fontes in the 20th minute of the match. Feliberto Manilan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Roger Machado sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Nahuel Losada didn't even have to move. Nahuel Losada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Fontes in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Fontes in the 31st minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Nahuel Losada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind GRÊMIO's goalkeeper Carlos Miguel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The wind increased when Roberto Fontes made the kick off in the second half. When Maicon Capitão fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GRÊMIO's protests and gave Maicon Capitão a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Belgrano LOS PIRATAS booed when GRÊMIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maicon Capitão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maicon Capitão hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ivan Drago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Geovanni Maia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nahuel Losada. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanni Maia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Nahuel Losada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arí Terra in the 67th minute. Arí Terra scored 0-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nahuel Losada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Luís Fabiano Artime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Nahuel Losada got control of the ball when Roberto Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. GRÊMIO's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
