Emanuel Sefastsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicoló Barella, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ture Tinglöv hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the game Rick Parizeau made a throw-in which Benjamin Šeško played forward. Marc Ahlroht hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Emanuel Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Šeško, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Emanuel Sefastsson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Benjamin Šeško in the 47thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rasmus Fransson to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Rasmus Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgi Mamardashvili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, B68 Toftir's Giorgi Mamardashvili got control of the ball when Ulf Hedling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giorgi Mamardashvili was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Ulf Hedling capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ulf Hedling really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.
