Themos Vranas took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zbyszek Kaider. Zbyszek Kaider dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Zbyszek Kaider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themos Vranas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Váldson Donato hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Zbyszek Kaider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Kotsanakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Olympiacos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Themos Vranas in the 47th minute. It was a well-played corner which Xosé Lim managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and LeBron Puck made a kick off. When Jesús Cárdenas fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roneros F.C.'s protests and gave Jesús Cárdenas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Roneros F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jesús Cárdenas hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Zbyszek Kaider successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eustratios Vertsotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesús Cárdenas, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Rolando Sanjuan charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
