The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Wladyslaw Kopacz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Grodzka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Powiśle Warszawa the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Grodzka's Wladyslaw Kopacz got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 3 minutes, Zbigniew Zajac mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Grodzka and the Powiśle Warszawa players grew even worse after the yellow card. 3 minutes into the game, one of FC Grodzka:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 9 minutes, Tadeusz Pionek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Powiśle Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeusz Pionek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 莫平正 hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Tadeusz Pionek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wincent Drab read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Boguslaw Jucha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateusz Fudalej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeusz Pionek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wincent Drab having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, FC Grodzka's goalkeeper Wincent Drab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeusz Pionek. If Maciek Majewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Artur Scigan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Tadeusz Pionek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wincent Drab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Pionek in the 32nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Wincent Drab successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tadeusz Pionek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Wincent Drab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Powiśle Warszawa's Ryan Giggs was substituted for Cyryl Rukszcz. FC Grodzka's Wincent Drab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Pionek in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Pionek in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Grodzka's goalkeeper Wincent Drab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Powiśle Warszawa were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after FC Grodzka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tadeusz Siembab took the corner. Ulryk Piszczor was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 47th minute, Powiśle Warszawa's Tadeusz Pionek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mateusz Fudalej made a kick off. Zbigniew Zajac hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Ryan Giggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincent Drab having to interfere. 61 minutes in the game, Tadeusz Pionek dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience was convinced that Tadeusz Pionek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wincent Drab was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Pionek in the 65th minute of play forced FC Grodzka's goalkeeper Wincent Drab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Powiśle Warszawa's Tadeusz Pionek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wincent Drab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 69th minute, Ryan Giggs made a precise shot to the right of Wincent Drab. FC Grodzka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Powiśle Warszawa made a substitution. Piotr Majewski replaced Tadeusz Pionek. Wincent Drab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Giggs in the 81st minute of play. When Ryan Giggs came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Powiśle Warszawa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryan Giggs couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, FC Grodzka's goal looked a bit too open when Abay Uygun came free, but Wincent Drab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Powiśle Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abay Uygun to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Piotr Majewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wincent Drab was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Wincent Drab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Giggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Powiśle Warszawa's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
