Spectators: 7673 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Aelgoet in the 5th minute of play forced Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Jussef Ben Mami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Salmiyah Power's Epifanio Clementi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Björling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute, Noureddine Adjani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Epifanio Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Quintun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jussef Ben Mami read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 23 minutes Salmiyah Power's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tony Montana who took care of the corner kick. Karl Björling came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Salmiyah Power's Hemza Kouidri. But to his dismay, Hemza Kouidri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Justino Sengrat's late challenge caught a Salmiyah Power's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Sengrat helped the player get up and apologised. Justino Sengrat hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes of play, Salmiyah Power's Hamid Abbas made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Björling was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the game, Abdelaziz Boutella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salmiyah Power's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ the free kick. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Salmiyah Power! 38 minutes into the match, Tony Montana notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Salmiyah Power's Jussef Ben Mami. Jussef Ben Mami was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd match minute, CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bobby Aelgoet to maneuver through the defense. When CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Adrian Quintun in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salmiyah Power's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Salmiyah Power's Noureddine Abdenouz got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Epifanio Clementi to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's Hamid Abbas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl Björling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Hamid Abbas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl Björling. The goal made the score 1-4. Jussef Ben Mami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Quintun, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ defense, Epifanio Clementi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Björling. The CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Björling should have stopped the shot. Karl Björling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamid Abbas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salmiyah Power made a substitution. Mustapha Zemmamouche replaced Slimane Faudel. Salmiyah Power's Cheb El Ouafi was substituted for Hamid Abbas. Jussef Ben Mami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Quintun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Karl Björling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Clementi in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Lidon to maneuver through the defense. Hemza Kouidri struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Karl Björling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salmiyah Power. After 94 minutes of play, Salmiyah Power's Cheb El Ouafi made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Björling was left in no man's land by his defense there! Salmiyah Power's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
