Antoni Beninda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hemza Kouidri, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A hard shot 9 in the game by Maciej Marchlewicz from a close distance when the talented Jussef Ben Mami managed to make a qualified save. Salmiyah Power's players were relieved. Jussef Ben Mami made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maciej Marchlewicz in the 11th minute. Abdelaziz Boutella hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The supporters of Vila Zumbi booed when Salmiyah Power was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelaziz Boutella didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Jussef Ben Mami had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maciej Marchlewicz. Vila Zumbi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Fernando Schmidt in the 21st minute. After taking down the ball on Vila Zumbi's corner Carlos Fernando Schmidt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jussef Ben Mami quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Vila Zumbi's Maciej Marchlewicz got a free kick in the 24th minute. Kang Fan Xiang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jussef Ben Mami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the match, Vila Zumbi's Kang Fan Xiang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jussef Ben Mami narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Vila Zumbi getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ferdi Kadıoğlu hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Epifanio Clementi made the kick off in the second half. Hemza Kouidri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. In the 89th match minute, Vila Zumbi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Souza to maneuver through the defense. Vila Zumbi's Maciej Marchlewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Vila Zumbi were victorious despite being under pressure from Salmiyah Power for much of the match.
