Horacio Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johan Browalls short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Jonathan Zanette to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 25 minutes into the game, Johan Browall lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Jonathan Zanette. José Luis Sanchez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Zanette firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Valdemar de Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Grêmio 20 Julho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar de Amaral couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute Johan Browall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Ponc having to interfere. José Luis Sanchez hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute of the match Strahil Novev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Zanette showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Téo Pires struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Horacio Ponc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio 20 Julho. Valdemar de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Каблешково fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Каблешково players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
