In the 33rd minute, El Retorno de Palermo's Bernabe Donio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andrea Banana. Andrea Banana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Federico Di Iorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Modesto Olentzaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Di Iorio might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Modesto Olentzaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico Di Iorio ran back to his position shaking his head. Modesto Olentzaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Amatori in the 47th minute of play. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Retorno de Palermo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andrea Iannotti was slow to take the kick. During this time Alba FC's players had a chance to rest.

Andrea Banana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Nabar in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Donato Amatori made a precise shot to the right of Modesto Olentzaro. El Retorno de Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Modesto Olentzaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Di Iorio went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Modesto Olentzaro made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Federico Di Iorio sent off a good shot on target. Andrea Banana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Nabar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Donato Amatori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in El Retorno de Palermo's zone, Federico Di Iorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Olentzaro came out of the goal and Federico Di Iorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the El Retorno de Palermo defense, Donato Amatori kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Olentzaro. The El Retorno de Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Olentzaro should have stopped the shot. Alba FC's Andrea Banana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Donio in the 74th minute of play. Bernabe Donio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Andrea Banana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alba FC's Amos Martorella got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alba FC's Donato Amatori in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Amos Martorella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modesto Olentzaro having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Donato Amatori's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Modesto Olentzaro was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Alba FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Retorno de Palermo.
