Osorio Umbria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 6th minute, El Retorno de Palermo's Cristo Lorencio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sotomayor Pendones during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sotomayor Pendones hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, El Retorno de Palermo's Natalio Nabar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osorio Umbria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, FC Philotimo's Rafa Lloret got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Cristo Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, FC Philotimo's Osorio Umbria got control of the ball when Cristo Lorencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Osorio Umbria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Nabar in the 26th minute of play. Modesto Olentzaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor Lloret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modesto Olentzaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Héctor Lloret's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umea Caubilla in the 31st minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Modesto Olentzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Nabar took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osorio Umbria. Osorio Umbria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 41 minutes into the game, Omar Canor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Retorno de Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Philotimo the free kick. Omar Canor hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Illart to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Natalio Nabar notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC Philotimo's Osorio Umbria. Osorio Umbria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valerio Montoia kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. FC Philotimo's Osorio Umbria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Claude in the 60th minute of play. When Valerio Montoia fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Philotimo's protests and gave Valerio Montoia a yellow card for diving instead. Osorio Umbria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Nabar, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Claude to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, El Retorno de Palermo's Natalio Nabar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osorio Umbria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. In the 84th minute Cristo Lorencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osorio Umbria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osorio Umbria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Nabar in the 85th minute of play. Modesto Olentzaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umea Caubilla in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, FC Philotimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valerio Montoia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to El Retorno de Palermo getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Guaberto Rufio hit a great ball. Modesto Olentzaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umea Caubilla in the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Philotimo's zone, Bernardo Illart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osorio Umbria came out of the goal and Bernardo Illart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El Retorno de Palermo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
