William Shakespeare started the match with the kick off. When Dráuzio Sergipano fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's protests and gave Dráuzio Sergipano a yellow card for diving instead. Dráuzio Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's Washington Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ádám Dobos in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Imperio Catatumbo de Lara getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Reynardo Arrate hit a great ball. Washington Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Shakespeare in the 23rd minute of the match. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's Washington Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ádám Dobos in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Ieltxu Orbaneja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Vítor Meireles. Washington Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Shakespeare, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, William Shakespeare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's supporters rose to their feet, but William Shakespeare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Washington Cavalcante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ademir Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Washington Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ádám Dobos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dráuzio Sergipano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Washington Cavalcante made a huge save. Joel Teles's late challenge caught a Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Teles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Joel Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Ádám Dobos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Celsinho Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Ieltxu Orbaneja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Siqueira in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Teles came free, but Ieltxu Orbaneja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Emeterio Somalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC made a substitution. Bernardo Maia replaced Joel Teles. In the 67th match minute, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emeterio Somalo to maneuver through the defense. João Vítor Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ieltxu Orbaneja having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Jorge Monteiro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Rodriguez Toresano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Osmundo Puertas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Washington Cavalcante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Osmundo Puertas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Imperio Catatumbo de Lara eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
