Ján Bartal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Silvio Benino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Paulo Argi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ and the FC Kukova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juraj Grenčík scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvio Benino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Matej Ťažký scored to the left of an out of position Silvio Benino, making the score, 2-3. If Ján Bartal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Václav Židek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ján Bartal in the 83rd minute of play forced C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalkeeper Silvio Benino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Kukova eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
