FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Jânio Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingars Miders in the 38th minute of play. When Ioan Mavrodin came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Macaco F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ioan Mavrodin couldn't finish the play. Edgard Lira scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Campos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ingars Miders stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jânio Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Hermínio Cavalcante fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jânio Paraíba, passed just outside the right post. Ioan Mavrodin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Jânio Paraíba made a huge save. With a little luck, FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Jânio Paraíba got control of the ball when Ingars Miders tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, one of Macaco F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Macaco F.C.. For all the effort they put into the match, the Macaco F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO.
