Valdir Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Jørund Sætra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Penha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. David Leal came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gil Ceni could save by the left post. Yngve Kaldestad's late challenge caught a Zemantauskas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yngve Kaldestad helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Yngve Kaldestad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes Vestfjorden FK got a freekick which was hit by Dante Iratze. In the 9thth minute of the game David Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vestfjorden FK's Gil Ceni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 played minutes Zemantauskas FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Ortiz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ími Friðbertsson in the 15th minute of play forced Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Ortiz got free with Gil Ceni in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 minutes, Christian Salamonsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vestfjorden FK and the Zemantauskas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roger do Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Ceni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Vestfjorden FK's goal looked a bit too open when Roger do Valle came free, but Gil Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ími Friðbertsson in the 36th minute of the match. Gil Ceni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roger do Valle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. After 45 minutes Vestfjorden FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eriberto Gomes who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Zemantauskas FC's Eriberto Gomes to fire away a dangerous shot which Gil Ceni despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. David Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ími Friðbertsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute David Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Sílvio Penha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 60 minutes, Dante Iratze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vestfjorden FK and the Zemantauskas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Vestfjorden FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Iratze to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Sílvio Penha managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Vestfjorden FK's Thor Hesjedal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Zemantauskas FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jean Veloso hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger do Valle in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Ceni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute David Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Ími Friðbertsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ími Friðbertsson in the 84th minute of play forced Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes Vestfjorden FK got a freekick which was hit by Christian Salamonsen. If Roger do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute Valdir Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Vestfjorden FK defense, Roger do Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Ceni. The Vestfjorden FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Ceni should have stopped the shot.
