Spectators: 7709 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Isak Qvarnström kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Verwachting got a freekick which was hit by Wilco Kosterman. Tim Hellbom was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, SJÖARED's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Theo Zoontjens fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Adrian Springfält made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Theo Zoontjens sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Verwachting's Edwin Bulder got a free kick in the 19th minute. A collision led to Verwachting getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Henk-Jan Opdam hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Urban Rudberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Melvin Borgman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isak Qvarnström took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melvin Borgman. Melvin Borgman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Qvarnström came free, but Melvin Borgman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilco Kosterman got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 45th minute Urban Rudberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melvin Borgman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Verwachting's Niels-Jan Harmens got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes, SJÖARED's Tim Hellbom shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melvin Borgman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SJÖARED reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruud Geels made a kick off. Verwachting's attentive Niels-Jan Harmens managed to snatch the ball when Tim Hellbom made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Melvin Borgman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Springfält took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruud Geels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melvin Borgman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isak Qvarnström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. Melvin Borgman was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Isak Qvarnström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isak Qvarnström really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. If Dan Finnman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melvin Borgman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isak Qvarnström in the 74th minute. Adrian Springfält made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Geels in the 79th minute of play. SJÖARED's Isak Qvarnström was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Melvin Borgman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Qvarnström, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isak Qvarnström in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melvin Borgman saved Verwachting from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isak Qvarnström in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melvin Borgman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melvin Borgman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urban Rudberg in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isak Qvarnström in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melvin Borgman saved Verwachting from getting behind. Verwachting's Melvin Borgman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Qvarnström in the 96th minute of play. The Verwachting fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SJÖARED were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
