After a rather tough play, Verwachting's Stefano van der Schaaf got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Raúl Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Eusébio Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Han Ostermann in the 31st minute of play. Theo Zoontjens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Hoffmann having to interfere. With a little luck, Verwachting's Melvin Borgman got control of the ball when Rasgun Cool tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walmyr Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ruud Geels made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Walmyr Travassos came free, but Melvin Borgman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Verwachting's Melvin Borgman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmyr Travassos in the 56th minute of play.
