Melvin Borgman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Verwachting's Melvin Borgman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Cristos in the 30th minute of play. Ramon George made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Geels in the 31st minute of play. Melvin Borgman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Cristos, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ubaldo Mogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melvin Borgman having to interfere. Ubaldo Mogel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Melvin Borgman firmly grabbed it by the left post.
