Aureliano Cordeara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Modesto Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Paunero getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Emilio Ruy hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Mel got free with Kirill Karamazov in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aureliano Cordeara's late challenge caught a Paunero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliano Cordeara helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Karamázov got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Cordeara. Kirill Karamazov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejandro Farias in the 14th minute. In the 21st minute Gervasio Cordeara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Theodore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iván Karamazov struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Modesto Theodore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karamázov. Modesto Theodore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Ederono in the 26th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Kirill Karamazov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Karamázov were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Paunero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iván Karamazov took the corner. The supporters of Karamázov booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Liberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejandro Farias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Kirill Karamazov made a huge save. In the 42nd minute of the match Paunero got a corner. Karamázov's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leopoldo Liberto ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Paunero getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Paulino Eguerdi hit a great ball. Modesto Ederono might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Modesto Theodore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Modesto Ederono ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Paunero defense, Aureliano Cordeara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Theodore. The Paunero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Theodore should have stopped the shot. The Paunero players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Karamázov were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Aureliano Cordeara made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Florentino Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Aureliano Cordeara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Modesto Theodore was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Paunero's Rodrigo Macario was substituted for Guillermo Geofredo. Kirill Karamazov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Farias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Paunero booed when Karamázov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Ederono didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Paunero's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Cordeara came free, but Modesto Theodore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaston Ferran kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Iván Karamazov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute Silverio Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kirill Karamazov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Everardo Dodorol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Karamázov eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
