Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fred Branco started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Tancredo in the 6th minute of play forced Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper César Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Fred Branco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Modesto Theodore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. César Rosa was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Leopoldo Liberto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leopoldo Liberto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Paunero were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leopoldo Liberto took the corner. After taking down the ball on Paunero's corner Emilio Ruy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and César Rosa quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28th minute, Paunero's Emilio Ruy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Branco in the 34th minute of play forced Paunero's goalkeeper Modesto Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s César Rosa got control of the ball when Alejandro Farias tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- defense, Alejandro Farias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Rosa. The Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Rosa should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejandro Farias to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- defense, Leopoldo Liberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Rosa. The Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Rosa should have stopped the shot. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s César Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Liberto in the 56th minute of play. Pedrão Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Paunero's Emilio Eleazar was substituted for Emilio Ruy. Pedrão Leal hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. César Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Farias in the 61st minute of the match. Silverio Semeno took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised César Rosa. César Rosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Dida Capixaba quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emilio Eleazar, made in the 68th minute of the game. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- were furious when Conrado Lopez was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Paunero booed when Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Farias in the 72nd minute of play forced Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper César Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Paunero's Silverio Semeno got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Leopoldo Liberto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paunero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Basílio Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Basílio Prado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Modesto Theodore. That made the score 6-2 after 84 minutes of play. Emilio Eleazar took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised César Rosa. César Rosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. 90 minutes into the game, Breno Pernambucano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paunero the free kick. After 90 played minutes Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Breno Pernambucano. In the 91st minute of the match Emilio Eleazar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but César Rosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Vítor Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Liberto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for César Rosa. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Paunero booed when Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Paunero had played much better football throughout.
