Spectators: 7696 (Terracing: 5773, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pompiliu Moromete kicked off to start the match. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Doru Tarcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Geangu in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Doru Tarcu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dragoş Potopea. With a little luck, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Doru Tarcu got control of the ball when Dragoş Potopea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute Dorin Busuioceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Zbuchea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cătălin Geangu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doru Tarcu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Black Diamond's Doru Tarcu threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Eguzki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 35 played minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Călin Cojan. Nechifor Zbuchea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Cojan in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Black Diamond's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Busuioceanu came free, but Nechifor Zbuchea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Tudorică. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Călin Cojan to make the kick off. Nechifor Zbuchea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Cojan in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasile Hâncu got free with Nechifor Zbuchea in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Călin Cojan might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nechifor Zbuchea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Călin Cojan ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, Black Diamond's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Cojan came free, but Nechifor Zbuchea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doru Tarcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Geangu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute FC PIETROSUL -MM- were awarded a corner. Marius Turcu went to the cornerflag to take it. Marius Turcu made a great header on FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s corner, it was just that Black Diamond's Nechifor Zbuchea managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, David Tâbârnă managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but David Tâbârnă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nechifor Zbuchea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Călin Cojan scored 1-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nechifor Zbuchea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Doru Tarcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Potopea in the 88th minute of the match. Black Diamond's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
