The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the game, Bingen Morientes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 17 played minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Manole Ozon. In the 18th match minute, LosPibardos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belarmino Revuelta to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Xulio Calvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doru Tarcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Garay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Paul Gorjanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodney Abancens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Călin Cojan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, LosPibardos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrence Marines to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the game, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Marius Turcu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodney Abancens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Călin Cojan got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. David Tâbârnă replaced Vasile Hâncu. 65 minutes into the game, Edur Verdeja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LosPibardos F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC PIETROSUL -MM- the free kick. 71 minutes into the match, LosPibardos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Busuioceanu came free, but Rodney Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Xulio Calvo made a precise shot to the right of Doru Tarcu. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 76th minute, Toli Izquierdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th play minute David Tâbârnă came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rodney Abancens. 1-5. David Tâbârnă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodney Abancens having to interfere. Rodney Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Tâbârnă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Quique Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the LosPibardos F.C defense, Dorin Busuioceanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodney Abancens. The LosPibardos F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodney Abancens should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Călin Cojan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodney Abancens. Călin Cojan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. In the 94th minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Dorin Busuioceanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8.
