The audience thought a goal was coming when Clementi Llamosas got free with Manuel Neuer in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, Nardo Tuo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Neuer. Nardo Tuo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 15th minute, Kismi Tojedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Buceo's zone, Edgar Igrejas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillen Ubiña came out of the goal and Edgar Igrejas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Neuer made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Jaizki Colina sent off a good shot on target. Guillen Ubiña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Igrejas in the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kismi Tojedo in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Neuer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Neuer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kismi Tojedo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Manuel Neuer made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Jaizki Colina sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's goal looked a bit too open when Nardo Tuo came free, but Manuel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's Carlos Pacheco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillen Ubiña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manuel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nardo Tuo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 46th minute Edgar Igrejas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Ubiña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kismi Tojedo made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Diogo Llorente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nardo Tuo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Manuel Neuer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Buceo. Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Buceo from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute Jaizki Colina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillen Ubiña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Igrejas in the 62nd minute of play. If Jaizki Colina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when KINDERUZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nardo Tuo in the 71st minute of play forced KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carlos Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Igrejas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Buceo from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the game, Ricardo Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KINDERUZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Buceo the free kick. In the 87th minute, Ricardo Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nardo Tuo in the 88th minute of play forced KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
