Black Diamond were furious when Iustinian Bocșan was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 3rd minute, one of Black Diamond:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Black Diamond. The referee gave Sporting Buceo a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Clementi Llamosas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Black Diamond's Nechifor Zbuchea. 1-0. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Favila Heras hit a great ball. Guillen Ubiña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Potopea, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when Black Diamond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragoş Potopea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting Buceo's Clementi Llamosas got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Nardo Tuo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Buceo's supporters rose to their feet, but Nardo Tuo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nechifor Zbuchea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Sporting Buceo defense, Cătălin Geangu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillen Ubiña. The Sporting Buceo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillen Ubiña should have stopped the shot. After 26 played minutes Black Diamond got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Potopea. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piearres Somiedo in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nechifor Zbuchea saved Black Diamond from getting behind. After 31 minutes Black Diamond's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Clementi Llamosas who took care of the corner kick. Jaizki Colina made a great header on Sporting Buceo's corner, it was just that Black Diamond's Nechifor Zbuchea managed to reach the ball for a save. 33 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Cătălin Geangu came free, but Guillen Ubiña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaizki Colina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Piearres Somiedos short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Nechifor Zbuchea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Piearres Somiedo was the one to do the kick off. Nechifor Zbuchea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaizki Colina in the 90th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Black Diamond failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
