Carmine Di Mascio ran back to his position shaking his head. Carmine Di Mascio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pascal Vledder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristof Klompe in the 5th minute of play forced Bar Marconi United's goalkeeper Gilberto Angelucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Angelucci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristof Klompe's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bar Marconi United's Costin Alucai slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pascal Vledder. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. When Costin Alucai came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Bar Marconi United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costin Alucai couldn't finish the play. After 15 minutes, Kristof Klompe made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bar Marconi United's Gilberto Angelucci tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilberto Angelucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinhard Alards in the 17th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Reinhard Alards made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Angelucci. Bar Marconi United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Carmine Di Mascio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristof Klompe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Reinhard Alards got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute De Digitale Dribbelaars were awarded a corner. Simon Schol went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Sindre Westerlund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bar Marconi United's Gilberto Angelucci did a great save. The supporters of Bar Marconi United booed when De Digitale Dribbelaars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordi Nijsse didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mart Verweijen fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Digitale Dribbelaars's protests and gave Mart Verweijen a yellow card for diving instead.
