In the 28th match minute, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Uriondo to maneuver through the defense. The Brazil Academy fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Brazil Academy's Rafinha de Andrade looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Brazil Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC the free kick. 59 minutes into the game, Jose Manuel Legrand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mateus Vargas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Mercurio Olaso fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Omar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Baquedano was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
