Sixten Sjö took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Bieito. Silverio Bieito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Sixten Sjö's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silverio Bieito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Emiliano Victoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Máximo Decimo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jonsereds IF's Jarl Petersson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gil Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Laurentzi in the 15th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Samuel Laurentzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gil Garcia was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Samuel Laurentzi sped through Jonsereds IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gil Garcia. Sixten Sjö scored 2-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silverio Bieito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Berg came free, but Silverio Bieito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Bieito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Berg in the 39th minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Silverio Bieito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixten Sjö in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silverio Bieito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 43rd minute of the match Amadeo Primeiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil Garcia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sixten Sjö took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Bieito. Silverio Bieito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixten Sjö made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Fredric Berg made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hermosillo FC's Silverio Bieito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Sixten Sjö ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silverio Bieito was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. In the 61st minute, Fredric Berg made a precise shot to the right of Silverio Bieito. Hermosillo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. In the 65th minute Sixten Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Bieito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Fredric Berg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-2. Samuel Laurentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute Sixten Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Bieito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jonsereds IF had won after a very even match.
