Nilton Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nilton Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC LauB booed when CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Mello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luiz Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Pascual Markel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Mello. Pascual Markel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Eduardo Duarte hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When Mario Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the FC LauB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Mendez couldn't finish the play. When the match was over FC LauB could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ throughout the match.
