With a left leg Samuel Evarado saved Hermosillo FC from getting behind. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hermosillo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Munio was slow to take the kick. During this time Abuba Akotonon FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Abuba Akotonon FC's Fabian Otoniel to fire away a dangerous shot which Samuel Evarado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hermosillo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Munio was slow to take the kick. During this time Abuba Akotonon FC's players had a chance to rest. Abuba Akotonon FC's Fabian Otoniel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Samuel Evarado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Graciani in the 16th minute of play. Felix Frans was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Samuel Laurentzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Alfredo Graciani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Samuel Evarado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabian Otoniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alfredo Graciani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Evarado having to make a save. Cristian Medina hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Samuel Laurentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Frans having to interfere. If Alfredo Graciani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Alfredo Graciani made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Alfredo Graciani made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Evarado was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 55 minutes, Cristian Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abuba Akotonon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Medina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Adrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, Antony Carmine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hermosillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abuba Akotonon FC the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Graciani got free with Samuel Evarado in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abuba Akotonon FC were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Hermosillo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Munio took the corner. The corner led Abuba Akotonon FC's Miguel Munio to fire away a dangerous shot which Samuel Evarado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Laurentzi in the 67th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Felix Frans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, one of Abuba Akotonon FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Conrado Mirande sped through Abuba Akotonon FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felix Frans.
