The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 played minutes MARTINETA got a freekick which was hit by Junior Ramiro. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Eric Pădure hit a great ball. Laurențiu Popescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Ruberto in the 16th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Alexandria Team08's Adriano Raniolo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guido Herrera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Mădălin Răduț notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of MARTINETA's Guido Herrera. Guido Herrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guido Herrera didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mădălin Răduț got free with Guido Herrera in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The MARTINETA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Herrera should have stopped the shot. Alexandria Team08's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
