After taking down the ball on The Cavern Club's corner Angel Aballe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Federico Elduayen quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Real de Carmelo 2021 FC booed when The Cavern Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Isadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the game Horacio Gonzalez made a throw-in which Geronimo Isadore played forward. Maxi Araujo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Aballe having to interfere. After a rather tough play, The Cavern Club's Cosme Sidro got a free kick in the 41st minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Larry Estoyanoff made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Larry Estoyanoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Elduayen made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Angel Aballe sent off a good shot on target. Luis Paz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Federico Elduayen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Real de Carmelo 2021 FC from getting a goal against them. Fabián Canobbio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Adalberto Archibeque kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC could leave the field as winners, despite The Cavern Club having more of the ball for most of the match.
