In the 9th minute Qikiqtarjuaq FC were awarded a corner. Denver Grimes went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Qikiqtarjuaq FC's corner Denver Grimes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carl Starfelt quite easily take care of the ball. In the 16th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Junior Stover to maneuver through the defense. Amat Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carl Starfelt came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Mario Dostie. But to his dismay, Mario Dostie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 25 minutes into the match, Junior Stover had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carl Starfelt. Real Club Celta de Vigo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Junior Stover was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frodo Acarreta in the 30th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Jason Achin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Owen in the 33rd minute of play forced Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Carl Starfelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Álvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Junior Stover could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Carl Starfelt made a huge save. After 38 minutes of play, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Amat Maldonado made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jason Achin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Junior Stover got free with Carl Starfelt in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jason Achin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amat Maldonado in the 45th minute of the match. Bastien Aldridge hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 57th minute, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Hassan Huerta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amat Maldonado got free with Jason Achin in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Mario Dostie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Starfelt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Bastien Aldridge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jason Achin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frodo Acarreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Real Club Celta de Vigo's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Owen came free, but Carl Starfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Michael Owen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Starfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match, Hugo Álvarez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jason Achin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Beremundo Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beremundo Herrera got free with Jason Achin in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mario Dostie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Starfelt having to interfere. Jason Achin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amat Maldonado, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Club Celta de Vigo's performance. The match ended with a win for Real Club Celta de Vigo.
