Atletico Maturrango's Ahmet Fikret Çanak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Maturrango from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Almstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raitin Salvia in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, FC Wingspan's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Vilardell came free, but Jonathan Almstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Olof Abrahamsson got free with Ahmet Fikret Çanak in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Efrain Vilardell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Maturrango's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Vilardell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Almstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caton Oquendo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Wingspan defense, Efrain Vilardell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Almstedt. The FC Wingspan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Almstedt should have stopped the shot. Castel Neses charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Castel Neses the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Atletico Maturrango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Castel Neses to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of FC Wingspan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atletico Maturrango:s goal. Jonathan Almstedt had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Efrain Vilardell's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jan-Olof Abrahamsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmet Fikret Çanak came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Olof Abrahamsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 31st minute. Antonio Salmanton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Almstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Castel Neses had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's Efrain Vilardell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Almstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caton Oquendo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raitin Salvia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Erik Åström during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Atletico Maturrango booed when FC Wingspan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Erik Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Vilardell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Efrain Vilardell could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Jonathan Almstedt however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Abrahamsson in the 63rd minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Ahmet Fikret Çanak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Fikret Çanak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Olof Abrahamsson's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Efrain Vilardell struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jonathan Almstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Maturrango. In the 70th minute Raitin Salvia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atletico Maturrango's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Efrain Vilardell in the 71st minute. After taking down the ball on Atletico Maturrango's corner Efrain Vilardell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Almstedt quite easily take care of the ball. In the 74th minute, Jocke Nilsson made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Fikret Çanak. Atletico Maturrango's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jocke Nilsson in the 77th minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Ahmet Fikret Çanak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atletico Maturrango's Ahmet Fikret Çanak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Abrahamsson in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, FC Wingspan's goalkeeper Jonathan Almstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efrain Vilardell. Efrain Vilardell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Almstedt firmly grabbed it by the left post. Efrain Vilardell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Almstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Jan-Olof Abrahamsson took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Fikret Çanak. Ahmet Fikret Çanak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Wingspan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atletico Maturrango had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
