When Evaristo Guillem fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grütly's protests and gave Evaristo Guillem a yellow card for diving instead. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Isidro Gregory successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Isidro Gregory showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Grajewski in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, KS Ruch Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Polo came free, but Barnaba Nieuzyla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Gregory took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafal Poniewaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wit Dziewedik fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Ruch Chorzów's protests and gave Wit Dziewedik a yellow card for diving instead. Wit Dziewedik hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Marcelino Eguerdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaston Edur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KS Ruch Chorzów's Barnaba Nieuzyla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Edur in the 40th minute of play. When Gaston Edur, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 40 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Barnaba Nieuzyla was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Gaston Edur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Nieuzyla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, KS Ruch Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Dynda to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Barnaba Nieuzyla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grütly. After a rather tough play, KS Ruch Chorzów's Michal Miazga got a free kick in the 94th minute. KS Ruch Chorzów were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
