After 22 played minutes, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Leonardo Santiyan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tanek Piechocki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter de Guayaquil FC reached it. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Romo Ungo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 霍元甲 Bobo in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Vera Castro got a free kick in the 24th minute. Romo Ungo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 霍元甲 Bobo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Jacek Dyczkowski hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Szalone Konie's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Santiyan came free, but Tanek Piechocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Blanco Lambarida reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tanek Piechocki. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 36th minute, Waldemar Jaroszewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romo Ungo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Jaroszewicz during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blanco Lambarida was the one to do the kick off. Bartosz Mosiniak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Romo Ungo made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper Romo Ungo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartosz Mosiniak. Inter de Guayaquil FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when 霍元甲 Bobo scored to the left of an out of position Romo Ungo, making the score, 1-3. Rey Benagassi might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tanek Piechocki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rey Benagassi ran back to his position shaking his head. Tanek Piechocki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey Benagassi in the 63rd minute of play. Romo Ungo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 霍元甲 Bobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 92nd play minute Roch Piatek came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Romo Ungo. 3-4. Blanco Lambarida charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blanco Lambarida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Blanco Lambarida kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Szalone Konie left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Inter de Guayaquil FC.
