Ninoslav Stipanić charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 6 played minutes, Lautaro L.P.'s Anselmo Arata shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elder de Toledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lautaro L.P. reached it. Lautaro L.P.'s Luís Paulo Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Parzysz in the 10th minute of play. Luís Paulo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Šimunko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Nerudas short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Elder de Toledo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 18th minute Zachary Parzysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Paulo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Parzysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Eric Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Zachary Parzysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elder de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Neruda in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lautaro L.P.'s goalkeeper Luís Paulo Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pablo Neruda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Elder de Toledo made a huge save. Lautaro L.P. were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anselmo Arata took the corner. Lautaro L.P.'s Anselmo Arata was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elder de Toledo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gordan Kordić in the 36th minute. Luís Paulo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Minotti in the 56th minute of the match. Elder de Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Neruda's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute Stelios Philipidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anselmo Arata who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Lautaro L.P.'s Anselmo Arata to fire away a dangerous shot which Elder de Toledo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lautaro L.P.'s goalkeeper Luís Paulo Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stelios Philipidis in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elder de Toledo saved GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ from getting behind. After 81st play minutes Stelios Philipidis shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Elder de Toledo and just under the crossbar into goal. Luís Paulo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Minotti in the 86th minute of play. Elder de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelios Philipidis in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Kelvin Coleman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Arata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elder de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Aceituno, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Many of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ may have spent more time on the ball, but Lautaro L.P. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
