David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Chificeac in the 12th minute of the match. If Iustin Chificeac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Linghed Angels FC's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Bulă came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Linghed Angels FC's Elvis Figueres in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. MIT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victor Malmberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Linghed Angels FC's Ove Hellström getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Elvis Figueres struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Vlad Anghel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linghed Angels FC. 35 minutes into the game, Martin Ødegaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Linghed Angels FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIT the free kick. In the 35th minute, Martin Ødegaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes Linghed Angels FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Liviu Ciolacu who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Valer Papadima managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Victor Malmberg missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 49 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Vlad Anghel right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Elvis Figueres's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Vlad Anghel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, MIT's Vlad Anghel got control of the ball when Ove Hellström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valer Papadima kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ove Hellström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Vlad Anghel made a huge save. David Seaman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iustin Chificeac went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Fu Ling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Chificeac in the 75th minute of play forced Linghed Angels FC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, MIT's Lucian Mangra got a free kick in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Fu Ling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vlad Anghel. MIT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fu Ling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Iustin Chificeac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Linghed Angels FC's Victor Malmberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, MIT's goalkeeper Vlad Anghel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvis Figueres. In the 98th minute, Liviu Ciolacu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Linghed Angels FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MIT.
