Spectators: 7707 (Terracing: 5782, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pablo Neruda kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliézer Magalhães during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Eliézer Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in OxentePaisa Salcity's zone, Pablo Neruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Scherer came out of the goal and Pablo Neruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A throw-in in the 8th minute of the game was made by Stelios Philipidis with Alessandro Prenafeta as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Manuel Scherer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelios Philipidis in the 10th minute of play. The Lautaro L.P. fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Lautaro L.P.'s Pablo Neruda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an all-out effort, Lautaro L.P.'s Manuel Scherer threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amado Aceituno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to OxentePaisa Salcity getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jonas Paulista hit a great ball. Anselmo Arata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Queiroz in the 21st minute of play forced Lautaro L.P.'s goalkeeper Luís Paulo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clóvis Queiroz hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Manuel Scherer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelios Philipidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júnior Sergipano hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Anselmo Arata took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuel Scherer. OxentePaisa Salcity's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lautaro L.P.'s Anselmo Arata got a free kick in the 37th minute. Amado Aceituno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Manuel Scherer made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clóvis Queiroz to make the kick off. When Lautaro L.P.'s Habil Ita in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OxentePaisa Salcity's goalie prevented a goal. In the 54th minute, Gilson Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Arata was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With 57 minutes on the clock, Gilson Fernandez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 58th match minute, OxentePaisa Salcity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Anselmo Arata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lautaro L.P.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Arata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Scherer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alessandro Prenafeta made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Habil Ita immediately put the ball in play. After 69 played minutes Lautaro L.P. got a freekick which was hit by Stelios Philipidis. When Lautaro L.P.'s Habil Ita in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lautaro L.P.'s Pablo Neruda got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelios Philipidis in the 86th minute of play forced OxentePaisa Salcity's goalkeeper Manuel Scherer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes OxentePaisa Salcity got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Brodel. 88 minutes into the match, OxentePaisa Salcity's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Neruda came free, but Manuel Scherer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Pablo Neruda notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of OxentePaisa Salcity's Manuel Scherer. Manuel Scherer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 92 minutes into the game, Lautaro L.P.'s Amado Aceituno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Scherer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lautaro L.P. fully deserved thier win.
