The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Lautaro L.P.'s Stelios Philipidis got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Lautaro L.P.'s Luís Paulo Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fu Ling in the 4th minute of play. David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Aceituno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes Linghed Angels FC got a freekick which was hit by Declan Rice. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Saliba during the 17th minute.
