He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lautaro L.P. reached it. 12 minutes into the game, Teofil Tyskie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lautaro L.P. the free kick. After 12 played minutes Astral got a freekick which was hit by Teofil Tyskie. Slawomir Cholewa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Neruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witalis Lukasik got free with Luís Paulo Romero in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Neruda in the 16th minute of play forced Astral's goalkeeper Slawomir Cholewa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astral's Slawomir Cholewa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelios Philipidis in the 17th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Anselmo Arata got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Slawomir Cholewa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofil Tyskie was the one to do the kick off. Zbigniew Cymbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Romero having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Lautaro L.P. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhu Yuan Di to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Lautaro L.P.'s goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Lukasik came free, but Luís Paulo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Astral manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Lautaro L.P. to win.
