Graeme McLise was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. WiTeK TeAm's Waclaw Mlekodaj quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elpidio Hever, made in the 13th minute of the game. Ludomir Boruta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in WiTeK TeAm's zone, Kelvin Eyre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lech Dropinski came out of the goal and Kelvin Eyre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Ludomir Boruta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Graeme McLise was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leicester Foxes Academy's goalkeeper Graeme McLise, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute Alan Young shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Dropinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Leicester Foxes Academy defense, Ludomir Boruta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Graeme McLise. The Leicester Foxes Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Graeme McLise should have stopped the shot. After 40 played minutes Leicester Foxes Academy got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Hever. Leicester Foxes Academy's Harvey Bowler got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Graeme McLise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomir Boruta, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ludomir Boruta to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Graeme McLise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomir Boruta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Alan Young ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lech Dropinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. WiTeK TeAm's Ludomir Boruta got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Leicester Foxes Academy booed when WiTeK TeAm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Drugi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Harvey Bowler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Ludomir Boruta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Graeme McLise. The goal made the score 1-6. In the 79th minute, Ludomir Boruta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in WiTeK TeAm's zone, Alan Young stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lech Dropinski came out of the goal and Alan Young tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Graeme McLise was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Ludomir Boruta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ludomir Boruta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. Lech Dropinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jez Alcock in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched WiTeK TeAm eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
