Aļģis Engers was slow to take the kick. During this time Plaza Babys CF's players had a chance to rest. Plaza Babys CF's Aļģis Engers was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thorsten Ternes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Manuel Moya made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Björn Hainl sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the game, Björn Hainl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Manuel Moya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Plaza Babys CF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Joseba Sacristán hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis-Alfredo Belalcaraz during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Plaza Babys CF's Luis-Alfredo Belalcaraz got a free kick in the 19th minute. Yasin Saleh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thorsten Ternes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. If Jan Haase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Plaza Babys CF's Manuel Moya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Plaza Babys CF from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Jan Haase had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Moya. Plaza Babys CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Haase was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 34thth minute of the game Björn Hainl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Plaza Babys CF's Manuel Moya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Moya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Hainl in the 44th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aparicio Ladra in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thorsten Ternes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Björn Hainl was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Björn Hainl sped through Plaza Babys CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Moya. 55 minutes into the game, Plaza Babys CF's Yasin Saleh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thorsten Ternes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 60 minutes into the match, Plaza Babys CF's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Köppen came free, but Manuel Moya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Plaza Babys CF's Yasin Saleh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thorsten Ternes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Plaza Babys CF made a substitution. Eric Heredia replaced Eriberto Ferraz. Plaza Babys CF's Bo Kristiansson was substituted for Aparicio Ladra. After 68 minutes International Thunders's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aļģis Engers who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aļģis Engers in the 72nd minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Thorsten Ternes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Plaza Babys CF's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Köppen came free, but Manuel Moya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kilian Jonen fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored International Thunders's protests and gave Kilian Jonen a yellow card for diving instead. Kilian Jonen kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yasin Saleh got free with Thorsten Ternes in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Moya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Björn Hainl went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 90th match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kilian Jonen to maneuver through the defense. International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Kristiansson in the 92nd minute of play. Luis-Alfredo Belalcaraz made a great header on Plaza Babys CF's corner, it was just that International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Plaza Babys CF getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Yasin Saleh hit a great ball. International Thunders were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Plaza Babys CF for a fine match.
