Nereo Precioso took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ederono Bada. Ederono Bada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Victorio Baro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without La Para having to interfere. If Fred Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Jack Saunders sped through Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ederono Bada. The supporters of Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈ booed when FC Lugano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Gulli didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Lugano's La Para proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lugano from getting a goal against them. If Xandro Zubillaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Lugano getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cui Cheng Liang hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈ were awarded a corner. Carsten-Alexander Rios went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Saunders in the 37th minute of play forced Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈'s goalkeeper Ederono Bada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yusuf Ziya Cerit in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ederono Bada saved Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈ from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaitano Castrejana in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Lugano's goalkeeper La Para to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ederono Bada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yusuf Ziya Cerit in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xandro Zubillaga to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Saunders got free with Ederono Bada in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 53 played minutes Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈ got a freekick which was hit by Bermund Zurita. La Para made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaitano Castrejana in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈'s goal looked a bit too open when Fred Lara came free, but Ederono Bada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Xandro Zubillaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Lugano's La Para was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈ defense, Jack Saunders kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ederono Bada. The Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ederono Bada should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Jack Saunders could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Ederono Bada however easily saved by the left post. Jack Saunders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Lugano made a substitution. Klas Tingelholm replaced Jack Saunders. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klas Tingelholm got free with Ederono Bada in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈'s Carsten-Alexander Rios got a free kick in the 77th minute. With his leg Ederono Bada managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when FC Lugano's Fred Lara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 80th minute, Carsten-Alexander Rios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, FC Lugano's goal looked a bit too open when Xandro Zubillaga came free, but La Para reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ederono Bada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Lara in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈'s Osvaldo Lodeña got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ederono Bada acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cui Cheng Liang.
