The Bialski Bastion Legii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ajax Poland's Wojciech Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Malik in the 10th minute of play. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Milosz Starogardzki sped through Ajax Poland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wojciech Szczęsny. After 15 played minutes Ajax Poland got a freekick which was hit by Michal Pazdan. Wojciech Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Malik, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Boguslaw Bartochowski put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Wojciech Szczęsny. Wojciech Szczęsny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Domeradzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boguslaw Bartochowski in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wojciech Szczęsny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wojciech Szczęsny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Gonsiewski in the 28th minute of the match. Bialski Bastion Legii's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marek Malik in the 29th minute. When Boguslaw Bartochowski came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Bialski Bastion Legii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boguslaw Bartochowski couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Boguslaw Bartochowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wojciech Szczęsny was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 55 minutes of play, Bialski Bastion Legii's Jerzy Gonsiewski made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wojciech Szczęsny was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Boguslaw Bartochowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wojciech Szczęsny. The goal made the score 0-6. 62 minutes into the match, Ajax Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Bartochowski came free, but Wojciech Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wojciech Szczęsny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerzy Gonsiewski in the 64th minute. Michal Pazdan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Marek Malik might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wojciech Szczęsny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marek Malik ran back to his position shaking his head. Ajax Poland's Wojciech Szczęsny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Ajax Poland from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ajax Poland's Wojciech Szczęsny got control of the ball when Jacek Domeradzki tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Bialski Bastion Legii's Boguslaw Bartochowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wojciech Szczęsny. Wojciech Szczęsny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. After 87 played minutes, Bialski Bastion Legii's Stanislaw Odachowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bialski Bastion Legii reached it. Ajax Poland's Wojciech Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Bartochowski in the 89th minute of play. Bialski Bastion Legii played a much better game than Ajax Poland and deserved their victory. The Ajax Poland players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
